I am obsessed with reading. It is my favorite thing to do in my down time. Take a bath, light some candles and read. For Christmas I received the Kindle Fire from my parents. Best. Present. Ever! I don't have much money, so I've been downloading free books. I've found so far a couple of book series that I love. So here is my fantasy/fiction (thats what I consider them atleast) collection:
NoLander by Becca Mills
This book was about a girl who had panic attacks that weren't really panic attacks, just a way her body reacted to another world. I got really into this and loved it and then discovered the second book is not out yet. Damn. There were parts I got confused by. Not because the author made the story line confusing but by explaining the different worlds. I think, anyway. Like I said. I was confused.
Rain and Revelation by Therese Pautz
Not much to say but this was amazing. It was dark and twisty and the main character had to find her way. I loved it. I couldn't put it down. Plus, I could picture Ireland perfectly. I recommend this book to anyone. I loved it.
Poison Princess by Kresley Cole (The Arcana Chronicles)
End of the world. The Flash. This book was layered really well. It was dark and eerie, and awful to think of this actually happening but it was awesome. I normally don't read books like this because it will give me nightmares but this one didn't. I actually got the first 17 chapters free, and then paid 8 bucks. It was worth it. It was sad too, in a way. I hope there's another one. I'd love to see what happens with the characters.Whether she stays good, or goes bad. Whether he will accept that she is The Empress or if he will run. I want to know if she finds her gramma or if she encounters more setbacks.
The Binding and The Drifting by L. Filloon (The Velesi Trilogy)
About fairies!Which I love. Most can't go wrong when writing about fairies. These one's I was up all night reading. And considering my 6 month old still wakes up twice a night, sleep is hard to come by. These are ass kicking, passionate, and loving characters. The third book of the Velesi Trilogy isn't out until July, I believe. And that's sad because I want to read it now. I hope they get to Lily in time before the bad guys do. And I hope nothing bad happens to Julia. But I do hope something bad happens to Julia's step dad and step brother. It's a fictional world. I'm okay with wishing something awful on a fictional character.
Harry Potter is my favorite series. Since before the movies. Shoot, I don't even like movies. I can read and it is a movie in my head. I get to imagine the characters how I want and no one can ruin the image in my head.
Dan, my boyfriend, is happy I have the Kindle Fire. It means he doesn't have to move heavy boxes of books! Although I do miss the feel and smell of a paper back book.

Fantasy Home:
Today, I've been thinking of my dream home. Pinterest has TONS of amazing ideas, but I'll start with the basics. I want 3 kids. My boyfriend has one who is 5. And together him and I have our 1 daughter, who is 6 months old. I would want them each to have their own room. And have cool rooms. I love my room growing up. It is big enough that I was able to have storage room. It has a dormer that had a desk there for the longest time. I have my bookshelf, which always needed to be bigger. I read too much. It had yellow and white stripes when I was little. And then it was green with lavender blocks. Now, its plain yellow because it's easier to match stuff with.
Anyways, I'll get back to my point. If you're reading, you'll probably realize that I ramble. A lot.
So, I would want a 5 bedroom, 2 story log cabin. I want a half bathroom on the first floor, a full bath in between all the kids rooms, and a full bath in the master bedroom. Outside the master bedroom, I want a balcony. My own personal peaceful place. Because, lets face it, if I have 3 children and my boyfriends son, I will NEED a peaceful place. Master bathroom? Something like these. With the window.
I think I would be in absolute heaven with either of these for my bathroom. A bath big enough to soak in a sexy shower. Although, this glass may be a pain in the ass to clean. I hate cleaning. Since that's the case, I may have to lower my bedroom count.
From here on out, we're going to switch to 3 bedrooms, and have them share rooms. But I'll make sure there's enough room for 2 children in each room. There's nothing worse than a room too small for small kids. For the sake of going with it, 2 girls and 2 boys.

The girls room would be double like that on one wall. My brother and I had separate rooms but for awhile he would come sleep in my room. We were little and for awhile he didn't like to be alone at night. Plus, our rooms are freezing.
But I wouldn't necessarily do those colors either. I tend to like purples and greys. When they're younger, I'll pick out the colors. For the boys room, I like the natural colors with any color really. I may have to pick a theme.
For my bedroom... I read about putting the bed in a closet. Which is actually really cool. Like if the closet had double doors, just take the doors out. That way the rest of the room would be an open sanctuary.
The boyfriend may have issues with it but I LOVE this. Its sexy and dreamy. And its gorgeous. Now the most important part of the house is: The kitchen. I love cooking and baking. But that doesn't mean I'm any good at it. I'm crafty enough but I am the burn master. I tend to not notice that I cook everything on high. Maybe its because growing up, my dad usually burnt stuff. So burnt stuff tastes like home. I can't even describe a kitchen, so I am going to have to do the pictures for it.
It big enough, but it's still cozy and homey. I love the idea of have a chalk board also. So quick and easy to jot something down. And you don't have to worry about accidentally using a sharpie on a white erase board. Great place to take notes and not have little bits of paper floating around everywhere.
All in all, I want beautiful and cozy. I'd like my home on a bit of land, near the woods. Damn those mosquitoes, I'll find a way to keep them away. I want a dog or two. Shoot, I'd love to own a rescue. But that's another topic for another night!

Wedding Fantasy:
I wasn't the girl who had her wedding planned out since she was 3. I don't even know what I'd do for a wedding now. But I have some idea's.I'm not into super, over the top glamour. I love simplicity. I love a good time.
-Beach Wedding: No shoes, casual wear, dancing, and yummy finger foods. I'd have it on the shore of Lake Michigan, in Pentwater. It is my favorite place on earth.
-Woodsy Wedding: Rich colors, in the woods. Only problem would be mosquitoes. Damn things. Again, yummy finger foods. And twinkle lights. I love twinkle lights. They make me happy. And I feel like I could get lost in a mystical world. It would have to be in the Smoky Mountains. Maybe on the Iron. Or beauty spot.
I could go on and on. I have so many different ideas. But I really would love to get married in the fall. Probably in October. I would have some amazing food. Yummy food. Not the wedding food that people dread. Bread sticks. You HAVE to have bread sticks in my opinion. And for dessert, brownies and ice cream. It would be very country and very simple. With candles and a bon fire. I only want to invite people I see on a regular basis. Maybe I'm cheap, but I don't want to pay for great aunt Sally to be there when I've met her once in my life.
My sister would be my Maid of Honor. The older I'm getting, the more her and I talk. The more we would rather just talk to each other. We can spend all day talking, and wake up the next morning and talk all day again. We both get busy and have to take care of our lives but we always talk. I think I'd want to see her in a long dress of pale yellow.
I would have 3 bridesmaids. My best friend and my soul sister and my boyfriends sort of sister in law. They'd be in knee-ish length dresses. I'm thinking in a sunflower yellow. With cowgirl boots. Maybe that's whats trendy, but that's okay. Or glitter heels. Those aren't very simple but I love glitter. When I get my hands on glitter, I look like a glitter fairy threw up on me.
My flower girl would be my daughter. I'd have her in a gorgeous pale yellow dress, scattering colored leaves and flower petal mix. She would probably run straight up the aisle to her dad and I. Maybe I'll have to find another color. Yellow doesn't suit us with our blue eyes and pasty skin.
I want the aisles lined with pumpkins, squash, and apples, so people can take them home at the end. I don't want the traditional music walking down either. Something that's in season and sounds good. I want the vows to include "To the ends of the earth."
As for what I'd wear? I have no idea. I'd like to be several sizes smaller before that ever happens. Hah! It'll be white though. And maybe I'll grow my hair out and wear it curly. Curly and blonde. Or maybe curly and copper. I love my copper hair. I hate updos. I hate them on myself. They make me think of high school girls. I've seen only a couple updos that I like. And they were mostly side buns/ponytails.
On the guys end, they can wear NICE jeans and shirts. Matching button ups. And no wife beaters underneath. I hate seeing guys in a nice button up only to be wearing a trashy wife beater underneath. That makes me absolutely crazy.
I think that's what I'd do. Its a fantasy. I don't even have a ring yet.
